I was asked
several months ago to make a Baby Quilt for a baby due January/February. No specific
instructions, just that it was a Boy.
I'd
seen a patchwork pillow made
in the shape of a Scotty dog,
my pattern is the
same, just made into quilt blocks.
The backing
fabric was in my stash
for a reason right?

My hand at pebble free motion quilting. It uses quite a bit more thread, but I like the look of it.
Your quilt be loved! Yes...those pebbles take a lot of thread!
ReplyDeleteIt is just adorable! And you did a fantastic job on the pebble quilting. They're going to love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet quilt and a great way to make those little dogs. Perfect backing fabric, for sure! Your pebbles look great. Try as I may, I can never seem to get the hang of them. You've inspired me to try them again!
ReplyDeleteI remember that doggy pillow! Great adaptation of it! I just perused all of YOUR blog posts and love all the baby quilts you have made! Thanks for visiting my blog and thought I would check yours out too!
